FREE bowling for the kids all summer

The Kids Summer Bowling Club is HERE!  From now until August 24th, all youth ages 17 & under can bowl 2 free games each day when they join our Club!  Membership is also FREE and is easy to do – just click on the link at the top of our home page and print out the Club Member application, then bring it in to enroll.  Parents can join in on the fun as well for a one-time low, low fee of $25.00.  This allows up to 4 adults from the same family to bowl 2 free games each day as well.

No more printing out coupons or worrying if you’ve left them at home…just keep your Club Member Card with you and present it at check-in to receive your two free games each day.  Shoe rental is extra, and the times for the program are limited on the weekends.  Don’t delay – join the Club today!

Ricker all “Hart” in Youth Tournament of Champions

Most 7 year old bowlers need all the help they can get.  They use bumpers and are content if they knock down any pins.  Ricker Hart, however, is not a typical 7 year old bowler.  The left-hander won the coveted Youth Summer Shootout Tournament of Champions on August 4th at Smyrna Bowling Center.  In doing so, Ricker bowled personal high games of 135 and 138 which more than doubled his average of 65. Moreover, Hart had to bowl 9 games which consisted of 5 qualifying games and 4 stepladder games.  He qualified in 4th place and won each of his 4 stepladder games on his way to victory, which came a mere 2 1/2 hours after his 8pm bedtime.  He also had to fight through a blister on his thumb for his last 6 tournament games and if all of that wasn’t enough – he had to bowl his sister in the first match game!

Michael Murrell, who led the qualifying with a scorching 1330 series, finished second.  Rounding out the top five were:  Zach Barrett, Drew Wiggins and Blake Hart. For his efforts, Ricker won a $200 scholarship which he can look forward to using…in 2022.

Kids Bowl Free is coming to Smyrna

Our new summer program for kids starts in just 3 days and is simply called “Kids Bowl Free!”  All youth ages 18 & under who sign up online will receive passes for 2 free games of bowling every day, all summer long.  WOW!  The passes are sent to the parents’ inbox each week, and all you do is print them out and bring them in to the center to BOWL FREE!  Register your kids at this website:

Also available with the program is the Family Pass option, where up to 4 adults from the same household can participate this summer as well.  For a small one-time fee of $24.95, the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, even the babysitter can all join in on the fun!  Kids Bowl Free is a nationwide program started a few years ago by a group of bowling center owners looking to give back to the community for their patronage all year long.  SBC is proud to be a part of this group now, and we encourage families to come bowl with us all summer from May 15th – August 15th.  Sign up TODAY!

Summer Leagues starting – sign up with us online

What does it mean when our Fall/Winter leagues are winding down? It means it is Summer League Time!! We have LOTS of summer leagues on the schedule, and with all of them being a “short” season, what better time to pick a different day or league and practice for your big league next fall! And, we make it easy for you as all you need to do to sign up is go to our “Leagues” page and click on the league name that you’re interested in, and we’ll get an email signing you up. It is really THAT easy!! Now we know a lot of people like to take the summers off, but we don’t want your game to be “off” when you come back…so, why not bowl a short summer league to stay sharp! You’ll be glad you did!!
